Welcome to One2One Wye Walkies, a unique dog walking
service based in the historic village of Wye, Kent

My name is Mary Lacey and I have lived in Wye for 30 years. I worked in administration for 19 years in London, previously working as a class teacher in primary education. Since childhood dogs have been a passion and during the past nine years I have taken part in a range of activities, including the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme, obedience and working trials training.

Situated at the foot of the North Downs, Wye is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by glorious woodland providing habitat to foxes, rabbits, badgers, squirrels, woodpeckers and carpets of springtime primroses; unspoilt Downs with SSSI status, managed by English Nature; and diverse farmland.

A short car journey away we have access to extensive forestry sites, including King’s Wood and Denge Wood, run by the Forestry Commission. Criss-crossing all these stunning landscapes are a multitude of public footpaths and rights of way.

Mary has looked after our dog, Blazer, each time we have been away, staying in our house. She is the most caring, conscientious and trustworthy person we know.

All dogs will be walked individually in quiet, local locations. They will be road walked on a short lead, transferring to a long line once in off road locations, so they have both freedom and security

Mary is a kind and gentle person and I would entrust my dogs to her at any time, knowing they would be looked after as if they were her own.

We promise that after a walk with One2One Wye Walkies, your dog will be tired but happy!

I’ve known Mary for 6 years while taking part in obedience and working trials training. Having seen her dedication to the welfare of dogs first hand, I would happily entrust my two German Shepherds into Mary’s care.  I have no hesitation in recommending her to other owners.
